FIFA, AIFF lift transfer bans on Hyderabad FC
Hyderabad FC's transfer ban has been lifted after resolving all FIFA and AIFF cases, marking a fresh start under new ownership by the BC Jindal Group.

The All India Football Federation (AIFF) has officially lifted the national ban on Hyderabad FC, allowing the club to register players with immediate effect.
AIFF announced to all member associations and stakeholders that all cases against Hyderabad FC in both FIFA and AIFF have been closed, marking the end of a tumultuous period for the club.
Hyderabad FC had been under a record nine transfer bans within a span of two years due to numerous unpaid wages under the previous ownership.
These bans were imposed by FIFA, as the club failed to settle dues for players, staff, and senior management.
This financial mismanagement led to the departure of several key first-team players last season, resulting in a poor performance where the club finished at the bottom of the league table with only eight points and a single win.
Hyderabad FC were unable to participate in the Durand Cup due to their inability to assemble the required 18-member squad.
However, with new ownership under the BC Jindal Group, the club has resolved its financial issues, leading to the removal of all bans and cases.
The new management is expected to bring stability and a fresh approach to the team as they prepare for the upcoming season.
Hyderabad FC will make their return to the Indian Super League (ISL) today in their first match of Season 11, facing Bengaluru FC.
Fans are hopeful that the club, now free from its past troubles, will have a much-improved season ahead.
