I shall stop ranting now. This ends the historic team final. 

See you again with the All-around finals starting with the men tomorrow and the women on thursday! I assure you it will be just as dramatic.

I can't get enough of this team final. ROC smashed that. Absolutely smashed that competition. 

They are now gold medalists on the mens and womens team final!! What an achievement - you can really see what this means to them. 

On the flip side - really feel for USA. The girls have done absolutely everything in their power to be their best today. Great resilience and mental toughness shown at a difficult time. Hope the officials see this as a HUGE warning sign to NOT take Simone Biles for granted. 

Say it with me "Simone Biles is a person, not a strategy". They cannot use her as a cushion. More thought should have gone into team selection and strategy. Just because Simone hits every time, most don't realise the pressure she is under. It is unimaginable the pressure she may feel when the whole of USA is basically counting on her to hit every SINGLE TIME. 

They should take the silver with pride! As they deserve it. 

Good wishes to Simone as she prepared for event finals - hopefully she will recover from any medical/mental health issues and come back to the arena on Thursday ready to smash the competition!

The GB girls are COMPLETELY shocked. What a phenomenal comeptition for these youngsters. A team of very inexperienced girls. WOW. No words here wow

What a team finals - both mens and womens has been. Shocking but satisfying

They are waiting on the score but the ROC Girls in tears! WOW. I am emotional now.

Also - the fight for bronze - TEAM GREAT BRITAIN LOOKS TO HAVE GRABBED THE BRONZE!

Regardless of what happens today USA should be proud of themselves. With what happened with Simone, and then the others carrying the team. Not easy at all 

Melnikova floor: GREAT first two tumbles. lovely. Crowd clapping along with her now. Or whatever crowd is there, haha. Last tumble now - double pike and she HITS!!

Suni Lee - great first two tumbles. She is so on today. Easy third tumble lands it well. Last tumble - double back - good, small slide back. Really good effort from her but I don't think tis enough to overtake ROC.

Zhang Jin 14.066 on vault and a good recovery after those two unfortunate falls from them. 

Jordan Chiles with a 11.7 on floor. Very low for her. Disappointing after a big beam routine for her. 

Listunova Floor ROC: love her choreography. great opening tumble. triple twist beautiful. lovely third tumble! wow fun piece of choreography through middle. WHAT A STAR. Only 16 years of age.
